equipment

What is it?
LabChip GXII Touch HT Protein Characterisation System utilises microfluidic capillary electrophoresis (micro-CE) technology to simplify process of traditional gel separations and generate accurate and reproducible data.

Manufacturer: Perkin Elmer

Model Name: LabChip GXII Touch HT

Applications: Rapid assay of molecular weight sizing, purity analysis, glycan profiling and charge variants analysis of protein samples with minimal sample preparation and sample input volume

Instrument Overview: The LabChip® GXII Touch HT System uses a microfluidic chip to characterize protein samples from 24-, 96- or 384-well plates. The microfluidics chip technology will automatically stain, destain, electrophoretically separate and analyze the input samples. Once the Labchip instrument optics detect the laser-induced fluorescent signal, the system software automatically analyzes the data and provides relative protein concentration, molecular size, and purity level using ladder and calibration standards. Results generated can be displayed and/or exported as virtual gels, electropherograms, or data tables.
