A*STAR Infectious Diseases Labs (ID Labs) was established in April 2021. Founded in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ID Labs brings together an interdisciplinary team of scientists whose strong expertise in ID could be quickly applied to the emerging challenges of SARS-CoV-2. ID Labs aims to be a global player in ID research and epidemic preparedness, bringing together scientists from all over the world into a thriving multidisciplinary research community. Led by Professor Lisa Ng, ID Labs advocates an intensely collaborative environment, fostering partnerships between a growing network of industry, clinical, and public sector collaborators.
