I have located the equipment which I would like to utilize. How do I book the equipment for usage?

You would need to create a new user PPMS account. Please login to PPMS for equipment booking.

I am unable to find the Equipment which I would like to use. What should I do?

May I know the charges of using the equipment of my choice?

The charges of each equipment vary. Please fill up the enquiry form that pops up upon clicking “Submit an enquiry”. A contact from the service provider will reach out to you.

Do I need to be trained to use the equipment and is the training chargeable?

Yes, you need to be trained prior to usage for equipment that allow user self-operation. Training may be chargeable, depending on the service provider. Please “Submit an enquiry” to find out more.

Instead of fee-for-service, is it possible to also enter a Research Collaboration for longer term usage of the equipment?

Yes, it is possible depending on the equipment and service provider. Please “Submit an enquiry” to find out more.

Are we allowed to access the equipment outside of office hours?

Access to equipment will depend on each service provider. Please “Submit an enquiry” for your equipment of choice to find out more.
