What is it?
Microhardness Testing is a method of determining a material’s hardness or resistance to deformation when test samples are not suitable for macro-hardness. The micro hardness test is also an effective method for identifying depths of case-hardened layers, decarburization or carburization, grind burns, and surface contamination.
