Applications: The spectroscopy tool is suitable for micro-Photoluminescence, Micro-Electroluminescence and UV-VIS-NIR Raman scattering measurements. The system is configured with the options of low-temperature measurements using cryostat and HTS microscopic magnet.
Instrument Overview: LABRAM HR 800 series is configured with multiple laser excitations lines to probe PL and Raman spectra of semiconductors, polymers, nanomaterials compounds, and epitaxial thin films.
Technical features and specifications:
(1) The system is a custom-built spectroscopy system equipped with Ar ion laser lines: 457.9, 488 nm, 514.5 nm, He-Cd laser line: 325 nm, NIR diode laser line: 785 nm. (2) The system is capable of low temperature based experiments and upto 500 K micro-PL-Raman measurements using variable temperature option. A magnetic field upto 1.5 Tesla provision for micro-PL-Raman measurements on small sample piece < 5 mm at room temperature. (3) Variable microscope objectives with lateral resolution ~1.0 micrometer.
